XIAO is a hardcore band from Stockholm, Sweden, formed in 2019. The sound is based in hardcore punk but borrows heavily from power violence.Calling themselves “Sweden’s hardcore band” they have toured extensively across Europe, the UKand the US.XIAO’s debut full-length, CONTROLwas released by Twelve Gauge Records in 2025and followed the BURN 7”(2023) and PAIN 7”(2022).CONTROL tackles the rise of right-wing politics in the West and other pressing global issues, delivering their most politically charged and ambitious work to date.Blastbeats and d-beat share the space with bouncy breakdowns,fistpumping ignorant punkriffsand expansive noise.

OBSTRUKTION: Obstruktion is a powerhouse in the Swedish underground scene, blending raw intensity with profound lyrical themes. Known for their unrelenting energy and fearless exploration of dark and personal topics, the band continues to push boundaries with their second full-length album, The End Takes Form out now.

UNIVERSAL ENEMY: In the spring of 2025, Andreas and Andreas met for the first time. As they spoke about their passion for extreme metal, it swiftly became obvious that this was love at first sight. They both possessed the burning desire to be touring musicians, working hard and playing as many shows as possible.. so they made a pact; Let’s see how big we can make a band while playing the music we love.
And thus, Universal Enemy was born.
The pair tried out different candidates and at last in November they were joined by a third Andreas and Niels, both playing guitar. The songwriting commenced and the honeymoon sensation spread to all four members. This resulted in the band recording demos for their first 6 songs in February of 2026. The band’s love for metal music as a whole, echoes throughout their songwriting.Thrash, Death, Groove and Classic Heavy Metal is morphed into their own unique take on extreme metal. Without reinventing the wheel, the band manages to create their own ferocious sound.
